The Pulmonary Clinical Research Group (PCRG) at the University of Utah Health (a regional referral center for Utah and five surrounding states) is a comprehensive resource specializing in the advancement of treatments for patients with critical illness and or pulmonary disease. Our core research interests include infection and inflammation and many associated clinical entities encompassing septic shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDs), viral respiratory infections, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease (ILD), venous thromboembolic (VTE) disease, pulmonary hypertension, and asthma. We provide end-to-end support for clinical research trials throughout the entire study lifecycle: including initiation, strategic recruitment, execution of study procedures, comprehensive financial management, frequent communication with study sponsors/monitors/funding sources and final study closeout.
